Couples

The term couple is used to define any two individuals in a loving relationship.  Any sexual orientation, binary, transgender or other sexual identity is not relevant to the work being done together.

I work primarily with committed though frustrated and emotionally exhausted couples looking to build deeper intimacy and vibrancy in their own lives while injecting juicy toe curling pleasure as their sexual norm.  They leave their flat-lined sexual practices behind enjoying a depth of intimacy and authentic connection previously unknown.  Feeling secure in their clear shared intentions and joyful path they create the life of their dreams.

Creating a sacred space for authentic communication expressing fears, desires and boundaries before each session. Using mediation and eye gazing to ground down and connect to the present moment and creating space for the vulnerability needed to start the path of true intimate connection.

The discovery of what toe curling pleasure means to each couple is the question that is often focused on during coaching sessions.  Starting with each individual defining their pleasure using Betty Martin’s wheel of consent model we take this information and begin to tease out fantasies and desires, learning to use clear communication to honour the boundaries discovered.  Negotiating and experimenting with pleasure.  Using breathwork to deeply connect with their own bodies then learning the subtleties of each other’s arousal cues. 

Open relationships and polyamory are all the rage in the media these days with judgement and misinformation abound. My personal beliefs on this is that love is infinite and a heart has no edge or limit, but our mind is not always on the same page. Not all relationships are capable of, or would benefit from opening and withstanding the challenges and emotional drama that can accompany this path.  Communication skills, boundaries and clear intentions are just part of what we work though together.  In a six session plan I walk couples through the various pit falls and emotional traps that can arise before embarking on this path.
